It’s been 2 years since Siqi’s wedding in Singapore. How time flies..
One of my dearest friends, Si Qi started a new chapter of her life. Didn’t get to stay in Singapore for long but nothing compares to celebrating the special day with the girl.
I still remember how thrilled I was when the groom’s mum asked me to wear Sari, Indian traditional female garment, a day before the wedding. I love new experiences so naturally my answer was “Why not?”.
Turned out, it’s best to have the Sari tailor-made, well at least for small figured girls like me. There were heaps of excess cloth so it could get rather unflattering but all in all it was a lovely experience. As I learned more about Sari from the groom’s mum, I fell in love with it almost wanting to steal the beautiful piece home.
How time flies.. Happy 2nd anniversary dear, hope to catch you in Singapore again soon!
Here’s to the old good times.
