Months back, I ventured out of Melbourne on a road trip to Wilsons Promontory for the first time. It was also my virgin hiking trip, scroll for photos and find out what else to do at Wilsons Promontory National Park.
I have not been on road trip with friends before and I have not hiked to the top of a mountain either so naturally I was nervous. Turned out it was a lot of fun and I’m looking forward to more road trips in the future!
Anyway, there are plenty to do and see at the Wilsons Promontory National Park. Due to time limitation, I only managed to visit the Norman Beach, Tidal River and Mount Oberon.
If you had the time, don’t forget to check out Squeaky Beach. And if you need a bite, head down to the Cafe/Shop, near the Visitor Centre where you can grab some maps and guides, for small bites and/or the typical road trip food – Fish and Chips. Be warned though, a Fish and Chips meal comes with one fish fillet and heaps of chips.
